From the ground (floor) up

Tuck began in 2012 as a small studio on the Level Zero of Judith Mackin’s home — a thoughtful, architect-designed space that welcomed friends, family, and an early group of clients who would soon become a loyal following. After three years of rapid growth, it became clear that it was time for Tuck to expand beyond its original walls and move operations to Prince William Street in Uptown Saint John.

Over the past 14 years, a vibrant and supportive community has grown around Tuck. We are deeply touched by — and fiercely proud of — the way Saint John, New Brunswick has embraced us, helping spread the word to clients across Canada (and the U.S.). Your trust in us to transform your homes and businesses means everything.

It remains an ongoing privilege to be part of so much change.

Where we are today

It’s because of your trust, enthusiasm, and support that we’ve been able to expand Tuck (twice!). Here on Prince William Street, in the historic Trinity Royal district occupying the main floor of the historic Old Post Office Building, we’re surrounded by stunning architectural details, part of an urban geography that tells the story of our region and some of our country’s most talented business and creative minds. Simply put, we can’t imagine a better place to be.

We’re committed to bringing you the best in Canadian furnishings, lighting and decor. That’s why we’ve built exclusive brand partnerships with Canadian design heavyweights such as Gus* and EQ3!

We also have a selection of incredible international designers from places like Iceland and Scandinavia. And of course we also feature the product of any number of unique independent Canadian designers.

As part of our commitment to the role original art and craft should play in our lives, we represent a small group of artists whose work we’re sure you’ll love as much as we do.
