Returns, Exchanges, Cancellations
If you purchase one of our in-stock products from Tuck and you wish to return it, you can do so as long as it's in the original packaging and with your receipt, within 10 business days of purchase. We will happily offer you store credit for the item you are returning or exchange it for something else. No cash refunds.
Items must be returned in person to Tuck Studio at 115 Prince William Street in Saint John, NB.
We are not able to accept returns on any special orders including but not limited to furniture, lighting, wallpaper, decor, rugs, and accessories. In some situations, we you may return select items for a restocking fee plus shipping to return the item to the supplier.
Products purchased from our online store are ineligible for returns by mail. Some products may be returned in-store for store credit within 10 business days; however, this excludes specially ordered items. This includes but is not limited to furniture, lighting, rugs, and commissioned artwork.

In certain cases, it may be feasible to modify or cancel your order, but only before it enters production or is shipped. Many of our suppliers have policies that restrict changes or cancellations after a specified timeframe. If you require adjustments or wish to cancel, please reach out to us promptly to explore available options. While we endeavor to accommodate your requests, we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations once an order is confirmed. Therefore, it's crucial to ensure your certainty before finalizing your order.
Please note, if your order has already been shipped from our location or the manufacturer, we are unable to cancel or make changes.

Under some circumstances, it may be possible to return a special ordered product for a restocking fee. This is normally a percentage of the cost of the product. In addition to the restocking fee, there will be additional shipping fees and possible duty/ brokerage fees. If you wish to return a product, you can contact us at hello@tuckstudio.ca to enquire.
Periodically, we offer our showroom floor models at discounted prices to create space at Tuck and in our storage areas. All sales of floor models are final, and please note that the manufacturer's warranty is void for these items.
Tuck Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Gift cards are issued in CDN.
Orders
While we strive to ensure timely delivery of recommended items for your space, unforeseen circumstances may arise beyond our control. We will diligently monitor your orders and inform you promptly of any delays or backorders. Please note that restocking dates provided by suppliers are estimates and subject to change. In the event of a change, we will notify you accordingly. In certain situations, selecting an alternative option available sooner may be advisable. However, refunds for backordered items are not issued. You may opt for an exchange or store credit if you choose to cancel the order.
Your final approval is necessary for all purchases from Tuck. This entails verifying sizes, ensuring items fit spatial constraints, and confirming finishes match desired aesthetics. By making final selections and placing an order, you acknowledge approval and sign-off on all special orders from Tuck. Please note, special orders cannot be exchanged, canceled, or refunded.
If you place an order for an item stocked at Tuck, we will ship it on the same or next business day and you will receive tracking in real time. If you’re placing a special order that will need to be shipped from the supplier, a member of the Tuck Team will be in touch within 24 hours of receiving your order. We will do our best to provide you with an accurate timeline for delivery, but due to global shipping challenges, delays could happen. We will always do our best to communicate this timeline with you!
We highly recommend full upfront payment whenever feasible, but we also accept 50% deposits to secure your order. Additionally, we provide convenient payment arrangements: pay 50% upfront, and split the remaining balance into up to six equal monthly payments. Normally, orders cannot be cancelled or altered once submitted. However, under certain circumstances and if the request is made promptly, changes or cancellations may be considered. Please reach out to us at hello@tuckstudio.ca to inquire.
Kindly note, if changes or cancellations are feasible, refunds are not provided. Instead, we offer exchanges or store credit.
Given the remarkable care taken by the manufacturer in their packaging, we at Tuck do not inspect every item prior to delivery or pickup. In some cases, orders are inspected if:
- The item has arrived damaged or defecting in the past.
- The packaging appears to be damaged or displaced.
- We have reason to think the item may have been damaged in transit.
Any other reason at our discretion.
We will carefully label each package before releasing it and the label will notify you of whether the item has been inspected by a member of the Tuck Team. Regardless of whether it was inspected by us or not, we ask that you open the package within 24 hours of receipt and notify us promptly of any noticeable defects or damages so that we may assist you.
We accept a variety of payment methods including cash, credit card (Visa, American Express, Mastercard), debit card, Pay Pal, Electronic Funds Transfer, and Certified Cheque.

Delivery, Pick Up & Shipping Information
If you place an order for an item stocked at Tuck, we will ship it on the same or next business day and you will receive tracking in real time. If you’re placing a special order that will need to be shipped from the supplier, a member of the Tuck Team will be in touch within 24 hours of receiving your order. We will do our best to provide you with an accurate timeline for delivery, but due to global shipping challenges, delays could happen. We will always do our best to communicate this timeline with you!
Tuck outsources its local deliveries to a third-party delivery company, All World Movers. We’ve worked with them to get the best possible rate for our clients. For deliveries within the Greater Saint John region, this is $80 for the first three pieces and $10 per additional item. We’re happy to provide quotes for delivering outside of Greater Saint John.
All World Movers does not unpack or assemble anything. Many items will come preassembled or with minimal assembly needed, but there are certain items (i.e., certain beds, tables, cabinets, etc.!) that cannot be delivered assembled. If this is not something you are comfortable doing yourself, we are happy to provide contact information for ‘The Furniture Medic’ who does furniture assembly for a fee.

We’ll do our best to give estimated arrival dates on your orders and will keep you updated with any changes in these timelines. Please note that these dates are only estimated by the company and are subject to change based on unforeseen delays, which are out of our control. Trust that we want to get your items to you as soon as possible, and we’ll work to ensure we do everything possible on our end to ensure this happens.
For clients placing orders for multiple items, you’ll have the option to have everything delivered together once it has all arrived, or you may choose to have things shipped as soon as they become available. Please communicate with our team which option works best for you!
All orders will default to be picked up at Tuck Studio, located at 115 Prince William Street in Saint John, NB, unless alternative arrangements are specified. Should you wish to arrange home delivery for an additional fee, please contact us at hello@tuckstudio.ca and refer to the 'Home Delivery' section below.
Pick-ups must occur during our regular business hours. Once your order is ready for pickup, we will notify you, and we kindly request advance notice of your planned pick-up time.
Warranty & Claims
In the unfortunate event your order arrives with a damage or defect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so that we can work quickly to find a resolution. We’ll ask that you send clear photos of the damaged goods and their packaging, including and visible damages to the box or wrapping to hello@tuckstudio.ca. We also ask that you keep the original packaging materials in the event the order needs to be picked back up.
Most products purchased through Tuck come with a manufacturers warranty. The details of these warranties vary from item to item. We will be happy to offer any warranty information. Please contact us at hello@tuckstudio.ca to enquire.
Lighting purchased from Tuck must be installed by a qualified and certified electrician who is knowledgeable about current provincial and federal electrical codes. Proof of installation by a certified electrician will be necessary to process any warranty claims. Failure to use a certified electrician will render the warranty void. Furthermore, improper installation of electrical fixtures can lead to serious injury, fire, or damage to your fixture(s). Tuck Interiors Policies
Drawings and renderings (e.g., floor plans, elevations, lighting plans, 3D SketchUp models, etc.) from Tuck Interiors are not stamped or approved for construction. They serve to illustrate intent only and should not be used for fabrication. Any structural alterations to a space must receive approval from qualified professionals, such as architects or engineers.
We gladly provide trade and contractor recommendations to assist in transforming your space. Our trusted partners share our values and commitment to quality. While we have full confidence in their abilities, Tuck and Tuck Interiors are not accountable for their actions, comments, or work quality. We assume no liability for the services provided by referred trades, subcontractors, craftspeople, businesses, or collaborators.

At Tuck Interiors, we frequently offer recommendations on materials including tile, flooring, window treatments, and more. Understanding and approving these recommended materials before making a final decision is crucial. We strive to provide samples, educate you on the recommendations, and connect you with other professionals familiar with the products we suggest. We encourage you to ask questions, review samples, and ensure that these recommendations align with your needs, lifestyle, and specific project requirements before ordering from our third-party partners.
We are delighted to offer samples for all our custom order products, encompassing leather, fabric, wood, laminate, veneer, marble, stone, and more. It's important to bear in mind that samples may vary due to differences in dye lots, material variations, and updates to supplier manufacturing processes. While we endeavor to provide samples that closely resemble the final product, slight variations may occur beyond Tuck's control.
Furthermore, please note that samples viewed electronically on screens may not accurately represent the true appearance, as they can be influenced by factors such as screen brightness, display quality, and size.
Disclaimers
If the pricing listed on tuckstudio.ca or our online shop is incorrect, we reserve the right to refuse the sale at the incorrect price. We will get in touch with you as soon as possible to notify you of this error and you can choose to cancel your order or proceed with the correct pricing at that time.
We try to be as competitive as possible with our pricing while adhering to our brand partners pricing regulations to ensure fair and equal pricing for all our clients. If for some reason you find anything we sell at a lower price elsewhere, we ask that you please bring it to our attention, and we'll do our best to match that price.
