A Blank Slate To Bright Living Room Transformation
About this project:
When we first stepped into this living room, it was largely a blank slate, with the clients open to reimagining the space from the ground up. We began by establishing a strong foundation with new flooring, trim, paint, and lighting to create a clean backdrop for the design to build upon.
The primary consideration for designing this room was its layout. With multiple openings connecting adjacent spaces, we needed to create a furniture plan that felt intentional while maintaining clear circulation throughout the home. Using custom EQ3 furnishings, we developed a
configuration to help define the living area without interrupting its natural flow to the surrounding rooms.
Because the living room is open to the kitchen, it was important to keep the space feeling light, airy, and cohesive. We leaned into a palette of soft, breathable tones for a calm feeling by including a pale blue sectional, light oak flooring, and soft white walls.

These thoughtfully selected furnishings with durable, pet-friendly fabrics ensure the room is not only beautiful but also designed to support the realities of everyday life. The result is a living room that feels both bright and calming.
