Our Wallpaper Wednesday blog series continues! Each week we’ll share 1 wallpaper or perhaps a collection of wallpapers that inspires us. Our last post featured one of Josh’s favorite wallpapers, Cole & Son’s Hummingbirds. He explained why he’s drawn to that wallpaper and shared some inspiring photos! If you missed it, read the blog here.
For this post, we’ve asked Heather, Tuck’s store manager, to let us know what wallpaper she’s loving right now and we couldn’t agree more with her selection…
A smaller scale version of the mural Nuvole, Nuvolette, is one of the most enduring Fornasetti designs. The sky was long a recurring vision for Fornasetti and these ‘little clouds’ are delicately detailed etchings depicting tempestuous, rolling skies. Presented in understated colourways of Black and White, Soot and Snow, Stone, and Midnight creating endless movement across this enchanting design.
Fornasetti is an Italian luxury design atelier internationally renowned for its decorated furniture and home accessories. Founded in Milan in the fifties by the artist Piero Fornasetti, and now led by his son Barnaba, over the course of brand’s history Fornasetti has created its own sophisticated visual language.
This wallpaper has been a favourite at Tuck for some time and our love for it continues. We’ve had the opportunity to showcase it in a number of our residential projects such as Amanda & Adam Hoirch’s home in Rothesay, NB. We installed Cole & Son’s Nuvolette (2 roll set) 114/28054 on the walls surrounding their minimalist fireplace in their living room.

We also installed this wallpaper in Jeff & Laura Brewer’s laundry room, adding beautiful movement to their walls. Paired with their walnut cabinets by CM Woodcraft and natural soapstone countertops, this whimsical wallpaper makes for a fantastic laundry room.
One of the best things about this wallpaper is that it can add drama to any room be it a laundry room like this one, a bedroom, washroom, living room, kitchen, dining room, or entryway without overwhelming the space.
Items from Tuck: Oryx Mirror 29.5″ ($365), Imm Living Painted Paw Canisters ($75), SLAB Wood from the Hood Cutting Boards ($35).
