Darren Emenau | Ceramics

Tuck is pleased to carry a number of Darren Emenau’s one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces. Made from white earthenware and local red clay dug by Darren himself, these ceramics are largely characterized by their distinct “crackled” look. Whether you’re looking for gifts or inspiration, Darren’s work is sure to make the top of anyone’s list.

Darren Emenau has received consistent professional recognition for his art, including multiple ArtsNB Creation and Regional Grants. His work has been presented and included in public and private collections worldwide, and featured in numerous publications and exhibitions. Emenau participated in the International Craft Biennale in South Korea, and the 3rd International Ceramic and Glass Exhibition in Turkey. He has had annual solo exhibitions for most years of his career.

“As a boy, I loved to climb trees, explore the shoreline and get dirty. Still do. Clay lets me be a kid at play, a mad scientist and an artist, all at once.”
