What began as a few rough sketches discussed over wine and across a dining room table soon evolved into an orange-peopled scale models and, ultimately, fully-realized architectural drawings.

The property itself — in the heart of the Mount Pleasant area (that’s Thaddeus Holownia and his box camera recording it in its relatively virgin state) — was, from a building standpoint, as rich in challenge as opportunity.
