A Virtual Home Consult is a n excellent opportunity to get expert advice from the comfort of your home. For $160/ hour, we’ll arrange a video call between you and Judith to discuss your home furnishings, room layout, lighting, decor, and whatever else might be keeping you from having the home of your dreams. Virtually, Judith will walk through your home and discuss how you can improve and make recommendations.
We’ve found this service helpful for anyone interested in purchasing new furniture. It’s like having your very own personal shopper to eliminate the guess work! After your consult, if you spend $1500 or more at Tuck, we’ll apply the consult fee ($160) to your order!

We’ll virtually walk through your home, focusing on the areas that require attention. During the consult, Judith will give you helpful tips and advice on how to improve each room, and she’ll be more than happy to answer any questions you have along the way. The amount of information, direction, and advice you can receive within an hour is really quite amazing!
In order to get the most out of your consult, we recommend doing the following six things to prepare:
1. Make a list of questions, organized by room.
2. Take time to walk through your home on your own, identifying where you think change is necessary.
3. Pick out the things that you really like and probably don’t want to change about your home. It’s easy to say what you don’t like but selecting things you do will help me understand your style and needs.
4. Identify how you envision using each area of your home.
5. Think about budget. It doesn’t need to be detailed or accurate, just what you hope to spend.
6. Finally, remember to be concise. It’s only an hour! Don’t try to spread too much into that hour.
These simple preparations will help to ensure you get the most out of your hour. Remember to have a pen and paper ready to jot down any notes. If you’d prefer to record on your phone or camera, that’s perfectly fine as well!
WHAT’S NEXT, BEFORE A HOME CONSULT IS FINISHED?
Nearing the end of your consult there will be an opportunity to discuss next steps to get your home to where you’d like it to be. If you feel that you require further assistance and planning, you can choose to hire Judith and Tuck Interiors for additional services. There is no pressure to continue the relationship, or we are completely happy to take the relationship to the next step.
Additionally, if the reason for your consult is to get advice on furniture and lighting, we’ll send a list of recommendations and estimates for you to review.

After we confirm a date and time for your virtual consult, we’ll send along an invoice. The consult is officially booked once we receive your payment of $160.00 plus HST. The invoice will be sent to you and you can pay by credit card over the phone by calling (506) 647 7469, or e-transfer sent to [email protected].
When you’re officially booked, we’ll send instructions on how to join the video call on the date and time of your consult.
