Tuck Studio and its sister design company, Punch Inside, are pleased to announce our latest community collaboration: working with John and Gail Rocca on their latest property development, Cathedral Place.
A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to walk through Cathedral Place with John and Gail. To say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. These spaces are truly well thought out, offer lots of storage and impressive large bedrooms (especially in the 2 and 3 bedroom units; each bedroom has an en suite bathroom.) The detailing in Christoph Malinowski’s custom kitchens and bathrooms are modern and sleek. To then look out windows and see the magnificent Cathedral, its steeple high and proud, makes for a truly a new and remarkable uptown living experience.
We want to be part of any kind of forward thinking residential and/or commercial development that is happening in our City so we’ve jumped on board..the design board that is.
In keeping with the theme of the rental campaign ‘Forever Young’ (there are four units in total, each named after a star from the mid 60’s and 70’s – Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Bob Dylan and James Dean) we have taken on the one-bedroom Audrey Hepburn and will be staging a model unit, what we’ve called “Ode to Audrey: Mid-Century Living”
Furnishings & Lighting from Tuck Studio will include many mid-century inspired Gus* Modern designs as well as fun 60’s / 70’s inspired decor.
Each one bedroom apartment is 630 Square Feet – One Bathroom | Six modern appliances, including a washer + dryer, and beautiful custom built kitchens.
Other units offer:
- Private landscaped courtyard
- Individual unit entrances
- Personal security video system
- Units with den, office, rec and workout rooms
- Private attached garage
- Walk-in closets
- Oversize windows with custom blinds
- Six modern appliances including washer and dryer
- Secure parking included
Our aim is to provide potential rentals a visual of how their space could be. All of the products on display in the model suite are available here in Saint John.
Below is a sketch of our proposed layout. We trust that when the model suite is complete in mid August, you’ll drop in and see what our design team has created!
